In transit

Today was pretty boring and hardly worth blogging. We flew from Phoenix to Orlando via Dallas. Had Maccas for lunch and are now at World Quest Orlando.

This condo is bigger than our house and has 3 bathrooms. We're about 3 minutes from Disneyworld.

Some general observations about the holiday so far:

- Americans are mostly very nice and polite
- Americans are mostly better at general conversation than Australians.
- Service is quite good, even at Maccas
- Milkshakes here are awesome
- Things are almost the same, but different enough to think I'm in a parallel universe
- Americans are not shy about showing those who serve in the Armed Forces a tremendous amount of respect. At the Shamu show in Seaworld the host invited all current and past members of the services to stand, thanked them and then they received a generous round of applause. Quite moving.

Magic Kingdom at Disneyworld tomorrow!

Maccas looks just the same in your parallel universe. I thought the multiverse theory posited both overt and subtle differences! :-) Have fun at Disneyworld.

Completely agree with repecting people who have served, on a plane, they asked everyone to raise their hand, and say thank you. I thought it was quite nice :)
