Animal Kingdom

A great day today.

Animal Kingdom is like a zoo but interesting and fun. Learning from yesterday that the longest queues are for character photos we got in early for pics with Lilo & Stitch, Mickey (got a hug), Minnie, Goofy & Donald.

Then saw the Lion King which was spectacular and almost worth entry on its own. We also saw Nemo the Musical in the arvo.

The rides were fun including Kali River Rapids where Declan got a good lesson in karma after calling out "I didn't get wet!" And yes, Liza, Expedition Everest was a sensational ride. Especially the going backwards in the dark bit.

Today Jackie added a baby gorilla to her list of animals she wants at home ( so far a panda, baby elephant and killer whale).

This park shut at 5 which meant we were a bit rushed but I feel we saw enough. Dinner was at Planet Hollywood which was a hoot except Jackie wouldn't sing along to "livin on a prayer" and "don't stop believing".

Quick bit of shopping and now to bed.

We have a 6am start to catch the all day tour to Kennedy Space Center.
I'm wearing my Star Wars Lego t-shirt because that's how I roll.

Well, you do have a massive bay, in your backyard which could probably fit the killer whale. I like Jackie's thinking. :)

You don't know me, but we were at Animal Kingdom today too. My daughters also want a baby gorilla now as well. Haha. Going to Hollywood Studios again tomorrow.

Will Ledger mind sharing Kay with a baby gorilla, a panda and an orca? That is the big question. Enjoy the Space Centre and lunch with the astronaut.
